We recently enjoyed a fantastic three-night stay at Mayfair Plaza with our 8-year-old. The accessible room was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for our family needs. We loved the lovely garden area for relaxation and the conveniently located landmarks like the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and Salamanca Market, which enhanced our family bonding. The warm welcome from staff and cozy ambiance made it a good stay!

Good location and lots of space in the room
Did not like reception being closed at 8pm and did not like that it was so difficult to get another bed in a room for our daughter

would definitely go back.
Spacious room with a large comfortable bed. Included a kitchenette for breakfast and a nice seating area. Free Wi-Fi worked great. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and was very clean. Close to cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket. Super nice team. Great parking options too.

It was closed on New Year's Day, and we only found out too late. We ended up hauling our laundry up and down hills early the next morning-such a hassle!

Great location for accessing city and Casino without having to get in the car. Very easy access to a variety of restaurants/takeaway food outlets/ supermarkets - all within 2-5 mins.We had an upstairs room - light and airy. Room was large and well appointed - comfy bed- good facilities in room. Staff were excellent - friendly and only too willing to assist. Great value for money - we'll now use it as a base for future travels to Hobart and would recommend it to others.Being able to access the upstairs room via a ramp rather than stairs was also a bonus.

Great value accommodation in a lively area.
I was seriously disappointed with my stay. The room was freezing cold, even with the heat pump functioning. The only window looked out onto an echoing internal courtyard, which increased the noise and reduced the feeling of privacy. I felt trapped in a space that completely lacked natural light. It seemed like I was stuck in a dungeon rather than enjoying a hotel experience.

booked wheelchair accessible room with microwave and the fridge, for instance, which i really appreciated. the location was particularly good and incredible, just next door to food outlets and stores, many restaurants and shops, and two major supermarkets. stayed for 3 nights, the staff was affable and super-friendly during all this time.
Nothing to complain about at all.

The room was spacious with a clean bathroom and a lovely walk-in shower. The staff exceeded my expectations by going out of their way to assist , even organizing a taxi to recover my lost bag.
Parking was slightly limited.
